ISS is looking for service staff – in decontamination and service at the Barsebäck Nuclear Facility.

Job Responsibilities

The work takes place at Barsebäck, a nuclear facility that has been closed for many years. The large and extensive work of demolishing the facility is now underway, and we need to expand our team with more employees. You will work closely with competent colleagues from whom you will gain a lot, as we care about helping and developing each other. Currently, we consist of about 65 employees who together deliver various forms of service to the customer.

In the role of service staff in decontamination and service, you will work with the following tasks:

  • Decontamination
  • Demolition work
  • Other tasks assigned by the manager

Qualifications

  • Requirement is that you are at least 18 years old.
  • Requirement for a B driver's license
  • We are looking for someone with previous experience in service work
  • Previous experience in nuclear facilities, demolition/decontamination, as well as training/certificates in: Forklift training, Radiation Protection Technology § 7, is highly meritorious.
  • It is important that you master the Swedish and English languages in both speech and writing.

Since the work is performed at nuclear facilities, a medical examination, drug test, and background check (Police § 14) will be conducted.

Other

The position is a permanent full-time employment, with an initial probationary period of 6 months. Working hours are scheduled during the day but may vary. Salary is set according to collective agreements and industry experience.
